Daniel L. Kramer, CPA, CFP® is the Managing Director of Kramer Financial Group. Dan began his career in financial services as a Certified Public Accountant in 1984 at Ernst & Whinney (predecessor to Ernst & Young). Prior to starting Kramer Financial Group in 1996, Dan was the Controller and/or Chief Financial Officer for several companies. Dan is a member of the AICPA, the NY State Society of CPAs, and the Financial Planning Association. He is a former member of the Estate Planning Council of New York City. He holds the professional designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). Dan is a frequent speaker for groups and organizations on topics ranging from retirement planning and investment management to tax and estate planning, and is the author of seminar titled The Habits of a Highly Satisfied Investor.
Dan is the proud father of 3 boys and grateful husband of Margaret Kramer. He balances his work and family life with service to the community in a number of organizations. Prior to moving to New York in 1993, Dan co-founded a non-profit service organization that organized volunteers to serve children, seniors, and the disabled.
